  • 2 tablespoon light brown sucrose
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Old bay seasoning, about two teaspoons
  • 2 cooking bags for the oven
  • Butter, about a half-stick
  • 2 tablespoon of Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce of gumbo (chopped)
  • 3 medium-sized red sweet potatoes (cut into chunks)
  • Shrimp, 1 lb (I used EZ peel)
  •   1 lb shells 
  • Spicy sauce (about 1/4 cup) (preferably a red hot sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon of red potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper


Set the oven to 400°F. Bag prep time. Crab and shrimp should also be added to the oven bag. Make big pieces of sausage and potatoes using a chef’s knife. Add to the shopping cart.

Use minced garlic, lemon pepper, and other seasonings (such as old bay and guajillo) to flavor the bag and saute for 20minutes in unsalted butter.

Slice the butter into 6 or 7 pieces and distribute them evenly throughout the bag of popcorn.

Shake well after tying the bag. Check to see that the seasonings are spread equally throughout the dish. Make two bags out of one and knot them together at the top.

Bake for an hour, then take it out of the oven and enjoy!
